Jurnal Teknologi Mesin dan Otomotif (JTMO) is committed to maintaining the originality and academic integrity of every manuscript it publishes. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening prior to the peer review process.

Plagiarism checks are conducted using widely recognized text similarity detection software. The editor evaluates both the similarity index and the context of the similarities to determine the manuscript’s eligibility for review.

Manuscripts found to exceed the acceptable similarity threshold or to contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, or self-plagiarism will:

• Be rejected outright, or

• Be returned to the authors for revision, depending on the severity and nature of the issue.

Authors bear full responsibility for the originality of their submitted manuscripts. JTMO has a zero-tolerance policy toward academic misconduct and will take appropriate action in accordance with journal policies if plagiarism is detected.
