Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Terapan Ekowisata dan Hospitalitas (JTEH) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and the originality of all published scholarly works. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using text similarity detection software prior to the peer review process.
The plagiarism screening policy is outlined as follows:
-
The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%, excluding references and properly cited direct quotations.
-
Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and improper paraphrasing without appropriate citation, is strictly prohibited.
-
Manuscripts identified as containing plagiarism will be returned to the authors for clarification or rejected.
-
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections or retract the article (retraction).
This policy is based on the publication ethics principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
